Pre 50

Night before the big race! Vermont Mike and I are spending our final hours before the big start at McNaughton Park in one of the fanciest spots in town...Super 8 Motel (with a pool!). Pekin's finest.

I'm feeling pretty good...feeling the usual pre-race jitters/giddiness/excitement/anxiety/anticipation/woohoo's!

More to come :) It's bedtime!

    I see that you and Mike brought it home in just over 13 hours! That's amazing! Especially considering the conditions that the trail was in for the weekend. I kept hearing that the rain in the week leading up was pretty bad and that there was at least as much mud (if not more) than we dealt with last year.
