Knock, knock. Who's There? Leadville Trail 100!
Order Complete!
Thank you from the Leadville Trail 100!
It's done. I registered for LT100, on August 21-22. Ho-ly shnikes!!
*deep cleansing breath in...aaaaaaand exhale*
It's gonna be awesome :) Geof and I will be tackling the mountains of Colorado for a whole new kind of challenge, all at altitude of over 10,000 feet, up to 12,500 feet. Do you think maybe I should start doing a little hill work? First I would like to finish Rocky Raccoon 100 :) Then I'll start the hill work.
Stepping it up in 2010!
Crash, out.

The Brelly is right behind you. Can't wait! Who needs hill training anyways! ;)
Wow that's a big race. Hammer some hardcore training for that one!
Leadville party! THAT is my big race this year too! In fact, I have a work friend who has a cabin in Leadville...so I'll see what I can do. Good luck at RR100, then hit them hills.
Wow! Congrats on such a challenge. I will be interested in following your training on this one considering the elevation differences between Chicagoland and 10,000ft. It will be fun to follow ya.
Thanks my peeps! Go big or go home, right?
Brian, FYI GnP is all over doing a training run weekend on Hope with the Brelly; let's make it happen! :)
Mike, great moniker! Took me a second to realize who it was, lol.
Go Paige!! Hill work...God that sounds like fun:) If anyone can do it...you can!!
Piece of cake Paige! Leadville is awesome and it does get down to about 9200 feet at Twin Lakes and about 9600 at the first aid station before the first real climb. Leadville is about 10200.
I will be out there with the Madison bunch crewing and anything else needed. We will see you at the pasta/coors feed the night before and on the course.
Good luck at Rocky and enjoy your training.

If you need any advice, I've been out to the race several times in many different capacities. Our last one (2009):

Yay! It is so awesome out there -- of course the Brelly will be there (training weekend, too -- heck yeah!). I think Brian waited about 30 seconds to register himself after we heard you guys were registered. ;-)
